120,000— that’s the number of potential homes that will be lost if the Planning and Land Use Committee passes an ordinance to ban accessory dwelling units (ADUs) in the city’s hillside areas. Over the past two years, ADUs have been a rare bright spot in our housing crisis— the number of new and legalized ADUs permitted in Los Angeles increased seventeen times— from fewer than 250 per year to over 4500 per year. Let’s keep the momentum going by telling our elected officials to not roll back progress on ADUs! Click here to keep hillside ADUs legal! After you submit your letter to Councilmembers, join us at the SCAG 2045 Planning Meeting, where you'll have an opportunity to learn about and provide feedback on the region's Regional Housing Needs Assessment (RHNA) and the 2045 regional transportation and housing plan. This is an important process with major effects on housing production throughout Southern California!

Thank you for your letters of support and in-person advocacy for the 127 North Madison project in Downtown Pasadena. The Board of Zoning Appeals denied the appeal, and the project was approved!  That means Pasadena is *this much* closer to building 53 new homes, only a 14-minute walk from the Metro Gold Line. Thank YOU for standing up for abundant housing for all!
