News: Abundant Housing LA's Data and Research Director Anthony Dedousis' article on the EXPO Line was featured in the Los Angeles Times today! Action Item for This Week: Congregate living health facilities (CLHFs) are residential homes that provide compassionate inpatient care to individuals who are physically disabled and/or diagnosed with a life threatening illness. Individuals and families choose CLHFs as healing can be quicker in a home environment and families prefer to seek care in their own communities. Today we have an opportunity to address the shortage of CLHFs— let's tell City Planning that we support a proposed 12-bed CLHF in the Valley Glen neighborhood of Van Nuys so that more individuals can heal in an intimate residential setting.    We Support the 12-Bed CLHF in Van Nuys! After you write to City Planning, RSVP to this Wednesday's Supportive Housing Advocacy Training and sign up to be an AHLA Volunteer!
